Terms of Sale
Last updated: October 19, 2026
These terms cover buying a Quality.Noted license from NotedSuite. By buying, you agree to them.
Who you're buying from
Quality.Noted is sold through Polar, our merchant of record. Polar takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt and license key. Its buyer terms cover the payment itself: polar.sh/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. These terms cover the license and the app.
What you get
- A license key, emailed by Polar. It unlocks the full version of Quality.Noted in Settings ▸ License. It's also in your Polar customer portal (the link is in your receipt), where you can see which Macs use it and free one.
- One payment, no subscription.
- Up to 2 Macs at once. To move the license, open Settings ▸ License ▸ Deactivate This Mac on the old Mac, then activate on the new one. If the old Mac is gone, email us.
- The app as it is when you buy it. We plan to keep improving Quality.Noted, and updates arrive through the app. The purchase doesn't promise any particular update, or updates for any length of time.
- For you. The license is for your own use, or your company's use on its Macs, within the 2-Mac limit. Don't share or resell the key.
Price
The price is shown in US dollars at checkout, plus sales tax or VAT where it applies. The early-bird price is US$14.99 and will later rise to US$19.99. A price change never affects a license you've already bought.
What the full version adds
The free version includes 5 Quick audits, 1 Standard audit and 1 app, with Re-check, Action Items and Accept Risk. The full version adds unlimited Quick, Standard and Thorough audits, unlimited apps, the Insights Dashboard, and prompt files at every depth. The current comparison is on quality.notedsuite.app.
What you need, and what isn't included
- A Mac: macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple silicon.
- Claude Code, signed in, plus a Claude subscription or an Anthropic API key. Audits run on your own Claude plan. Their usage or cost is between you and Anthropic and isn't part of this purchase.
- An internet connection: to activate the license and to check it when the app opens, at most once a day. The license keeps working offline for 30 days, then pauses until it can be checked again.
Try the free version before you buy. It's the same app.
Refunds
If Quality.Noted isn't right for you, email [email protected] within 21 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. Write from the address you bought with, or include your order number.
After a refund, the license key is turned off and the app goes back to the free version on every Mac it was activated on. Your audit results stay on your Mac.
After 21 days, we can't offer refunds, except where the law in your country requires one. That includes the EU and UK right of withdrawal: by activating the license, you ask us to provide the full version straight away.
Refunds are paid to the original payment method through Polar. How long it takes to arrive depends on your bank.
How Quality.Noted works on your project
- It runs Claude Code in your project folder, as you, without permission prompts. Claude Code can read, change or run anything your macOS account can. The audit is instructed to write only to the project's QualityNoted-QA folder.
- Commit your work before an audit, and audit only projects you trust. Text in a project, such as comments and docs, reaches the agent too.
No warranty
An audit finds defects; it can't prove there are none. A readiness score, a "Ready to ship" verdict or a clean re-check is a review of what was checked. It isn't a guarantee that your app is free of bugs, secure, or accepted by Apple, Homebrew or any store. You decide what to ship.
Quality.Noted is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind beyond those the law requires and doesn't let us exclude.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, NotedSuite isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses. That includes lost data, lost profits, rejected submissions, and Claude usage costs. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
Ending the license
We may turn off a license key used against these terms, for example one shared publicly or used on more Macs than allowed. We'll email you first where we can.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you buy applies to that purchase.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
